MICAELA BLEI

Micaela is a Moth GrandSLAM champion who has been featured on The Moth Radio Hour, The Huffington Post and Upworthy. The Daily Dish recently called her “hilarious and heartrending.” She has facilitated storytelling workshops with The Gates Foundation, Google, the 9/11 Tribute Center and NYU. A former elementary school teacher, she’s currently Education Program Manager at the Moth. 

KATE GREATHEAD

Kate Greathead, 5-time Moth SLAM Champion, tells tales at Out by Ten.Kate is a five-time Moth-SLAM Champion storyteller featured on NPR’s Moth Story Hour. A writer in NYC, she is also one of the subjects of Michael Apted’s documentary “Up Series in America,” modeled on the British series that has been filming 14 British children since they seven years old.

MUSICIANS

CASSANDRA KUBINSKI

Cassandra Kubinsiki sings her songs and makes us laugh at Out by Ten in October.Cassandra has released four albums, toured from NYC to LA to Germany to Jamaica, and opened for folks like Anna Nalick, Dickie Betts and Ingram Hill.  You may have heard her theatrical pop vocals on NBC, ABC, MTV and Lifetime’s “Dance Moms.” Her song “Not So Different”, has raised thousands of dollars for autism causes and been featured on ABC and NY1.

JEREMY JORDAN

Jeremy Jordan, at the piano, with jazz and classical tunes at Out by Ten.Jeremy, dubbed “a true wunderkind” by the critics, has played solo at Carnegie Hall (how? yes, practice), in concert with renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma  and with major orchestras from Chicago to Amsterdam and the Czech Republic. He has won so many awards since he graduated from Juilliard that we’d have to cut down a forest to print them. Just come listen to him tickle the ivories – from classical to jazz and back.
